Our Story

Welcome, and thank you for visiting! I'm Emily. I started HARTS after my baby's socks kept falling off, and I couldn't find the right soft solution...somewhere between sock and shoe. 

Socks Slip Off. Shoes Hurt. 

Socks slipped off, and no one has time to keep putting them back on. Shoes were cute. But they leave red marks and big soles and rigid shoes seem unnatural on a teeny foot that was still learning to walk. The booties out there area either frumpy and over complicated or leather and not adjustable and washable. Plus, babies don't need a basket of socks and a line of shoes along the wall. 

Obsessed.

First, I cut up a single pair of my son's socks and added snaps.

Four years later, I had tested magnetic closures, snaps, elastic, leather, silicone, pineapple and other vegan leather, cotton and much more. I measured babies feet and ankles every chance I got. I wanted modern style in a soft, washable shoe--sustainably made and practical for moms everywhere.

HARTS Today

Today, we are online and in children's stores in NYC and the east coast. We are excited to be launching new styles and colors as we grow. Thank you for joining our journey.
